  The CompNet Global Ranking isn’t just about medals, it’s about momentum!Across more than 50 events each season, Gracie Barra athletes from every region compete not only to win, but to grow, as martial artists, teammates, and representatives of our legacy.By tracking performance across local, regional, and national levels, the CN Global Ranking connects our schools worldwide, building a competitive culture driven by excellence and consistency.This is more than a leaderboard. It’s a celebration of dedication, a map of who’s rising, and a mirror reflecting the true heartbeat of Gracie Barra.

How ARE points awarded?

  • Gold Medal 9 points
  • Silver 4 points
  • Bronze 1 point

There is a tournament multiplier (weight) depending on the level of tournament:

  • CN Locals/ CN Super Fights  x1
  • CN Regionals x2
  • CN Nationals x3

European Events – Special Weighting:

  • CN Locals / CN Super Fights: x1
  • CN Nationals (United Kingdom and France): x2
  • CN European Championship: x3

Tie breaking criteria

In case two or more athletes are tied in points, the tie breacking criteria will be applied in the following order:

  1. Most Wins;
  2. Most total medals;
  3. Most gold medals 

If the tie continues, the tiebreaker criteria between these athletes will be victories by:

  1. Submission
  2. Points
  3. Advantages
  4. Decision by referee

Examples of points calculation

Gold medal little champion one grey belt featherweight  at CN Winter Championship = 9 pts x 1 = 9pts

Silver medal adult brown belt Heavy Weight at CN Regional Championship = 4 pts x 2 =  8 pts

Gold medal adult brown belt Heavy Weight at CN National Championship = 9 pts x 3 = 27 pts

Ranking Rules and Restrictions

  • An athlete who wins a division by being alone in the bracket does not score points.
  • An athlete who wins by Walk Over (W.O) because the other competitors did not show up to compete does score points. 
  • Consolation matches do not score points towards the ranking. 
  • No-Gi category does not score points in the ranking.
  • Absolute white belt adults and masters,  juveniles, and kids do not score points in the ranking.

CN GLOBAL AWARDS

The CompNet Global Awards is an annual event that recognizes outstanding individual performances of each season.

The Top 10 Competitors of each CompNet Global League official division are recognized via CompNet and Gracie Barra Media channels.

Number one ranked athlete for all official CompNet Global League divisions receive:

  1. GB Wear Gift Card to help them gear up for next season;
  2. 12 Months of Subscription to GB Online to help them continue learning with some of the most renowned professors from our team;
  3. CompNet Yearly Season Pass covers three local events, one regional and one national event.
  4. CompNet League Official Certificate of Accomplishment

The top three competitors of each division receive a CompNet Global League official certificate of recognition.
